At OTR conventions, Esther acted in The Lone Ranger recreation and performed the music for the Cavalcade of America recreation. Her music adds so much to the re-creations and her presence to the whole event. Esther did a lot of regional radio work in Oregon. One of the shows was actually broadcast from her home, another, an organ music show from a theater. She even did a call-in request show on the piano. Esther performed over 100 episodes as Princess Melody on The Magic Garden. Esther's voice is familiar to many visually-impaired people, she has recorded text books for Recordings for the Blind for many years.
