Robert "Bob" Hutchison (also known affectionately as "Hutch" was a founding member of the Lexington, KY chapter of ART. Bob taught announcing in New York City before moving to Lexington in the 1970s. He had a distinguished career with Kentucky Educational Television where he was a full time engineer and a sometimes announcer.

A gifted musician, his first contribution to an ART production was the music for "Alonzo's Watch", an original production that was featured at ART's first annual Radio Studio.

Bob voiced many roles for ART over the years. His biggest contribution was his portrayal of Mr. Peavey, Gildersleeve's friend and proprietor of a neighborhood pharmacy in our recreations of 21 lost shows from the Great Gildersleeve series. He was our "go to" guy whenever an accent was needed. Bob is remembered in this short audio tribute which showcases three examples of his talent and versatility.
