Mary has enjoyed both music and theater since she was very young, and her interest in both led her to become a member of ART. She plays keyboards, 6 and 12-string guitars and autoharp, and she is currently learning to play the banjo and mandolin. She is a seasoned speaker and performer (as the oldest of ten, she developed a "power voice" early on out of necessity) and she maintains that she "has never met a microphone she did not like." Her primary involvement with ART is in the realm of musical contributions, but she also enjoys participating in the speaking parts as well; and she has recently begun learning more about sound engineering for both voice and music. She was recently elected to the board of directors, and she looks forward to expanding her involvement with ART.
